Lewis Kaplan has presented master classes at many of the famed music
institutions around the world, including The Royal College, The
Royal Academy, Guildhall School of Music, Menuhin School and The Purcell School
in London, Geidei and the Toho Schools in Tokyo, the Central Conservatory
in Beijing, the Seoul Conservatory and Seoul National University,
as well as in Cologne, Salzburg, Munich, Prague, Madrid and Israel.
Lewis Kaplan's master classes are dramatic, insightful and focused
on aspects of his student's playing and thinking that will have
a major long-term impact.
Mr. Kaplan is comfortable in all areas of the violin repertoire
- specializing in Bach as well as the romantic repertoire and contemporary
music. He enjoys bringing his many years of chamber music experience
to coaching the chamber repertoire as well.
